Energy Jobline CVL in Slough is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy logistics team. You will plan and optimise daily routes, manage driver and vehicle schedules, and ensure compliance with transport regulations to deliver reliable service.

This full-time, on-site role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving and Excel skills, capable of reducing costs and improving KPIs such as on-time delivery and JPVs while maintaining excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience as Transport Planner/Coordinator or similar role.
• Strong route planning and optimisation abilities.
• Experience managing drivers and vehicle schedules.
• Good knowledge of transport compliance and Operator Licence regulations.
• Experience scheduling vehicle maintenance and fleet compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsabilités

• Plan and optimise daily vehicle routes to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Manage and review van and LGV schedules.
• Ensure effective utilisation of company vehicles and 3PL providers.
• Monitor and deliver transport KPIs and on-time delivery targets.
• Reduce missed delivery time slots and improve punctuality.
• Investigate and reduce transport-related incidents and accidents.
