Job summary

Johnsons Workwear is seeking a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and collect stock between customer sites and the plant, ensuring compliance with transport legislation and delivering a reliable, high-quality service to customers.

You will manage daily delivery routes, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service at every interaction. A Class 2 driving licence and valid CPC are required to apply for this role.

Qualifications

• A Class 2 driving licence and valid CPC is required to apply for this role.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles and placing stock into designated areas at customer sites.
• Ensuring vehicles are stocked with sufficient sundry items, such as repair labels and bags.
• Collecting and delivering items in line with route documentation, including loading and emptying on-premises lockers and exchanging dust control mats.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and acting as a key liaison between customers and the business.
• Supporting the Transport Manager by covering routes for absent drivers when required.
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team.
