Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting for a Rotational Speech and Language Therapist to join an adult SLT rotational programme, with placements across Chapel Allerton Hospital, Leeds General Infirmary and St James's University Hospital.

This permanent and fixed-term opportunity offers structured supervision, a focus on dysphagia and communication, and a pathway toward autonomous practice within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
• Experience working with adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Clinical placement or relevant experience with dysphagia.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with communication and swallowing difficulties after stroke and neurological conditions.
• Develop a broad clinical skillset through rotational placements across multiple sites.
• Receive structured supervision and opportunities for audit and service improvement.
• Be part of a multidisciplinary team providing collaborative care.
