Job description

We are pleased to advertise a fixed-term vacancy for 1 year to cover maternity leave. Successful candidates will be considered for a fixed-term contract or as a secondment opportunity. We seek applications from Physiotherapists with HCPC registration who are ready to start as soon as possible.

Dorset County Hospital offers opportunities to work on acute inpatient wards, assessment units, outpatient clinics, and rehabilitation facilities, including community rotations in partnership with Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.

Our 4-month rotational posts include a variety of specialties such as:

• Older Persons Wards
• Acute Stroke and Neuro
• Stroke Rehab Unit (Yeatman Hospital)
• Orthopaedics (Elective & Trauma)
• Front of house (Emergency Department & Medical Assessment Unit)
• Acute Care (Respiratory, Surgery, Medicine, and Intensive Care)
• Musculoskeletal Outpatients

At Dorset Healthcare NHS Trust, rotations include:

• Mid Dorset Integrated Community Rehabilitation Team
• Integrated Community Rehabilitation - Westhaven Community Hospital
• Dorset Stroke and Neuro Community Service
