Job description

Vacancies and Opportunities

We have 2 fixed-term vacancies (1 year) available to cover secondment and maternity leave. Successful candidates will be considered for either a fixed-term contract or a secondment opportunity.

Dorset County Hospital offers opportunities to work on acute inpatient wards, assessment units, outpatient clinics, and rehabilitation facilities, including community rotations in partnership with Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.

Rotational Posts

Our 4-month rotational posts include a wide variety of specialties, such as:

• Dorset County Hospital
• Older Persons Wards
• Acute Stroke and Neuro
• Stroke Rehab Unit (Yeatman Hospital)
• Orthopaedics (Elective & Trauma)
• Front of house (Emergency Department & Medical Assessment Unit)
• Acute Care (Respiratory, Surgery, Medicine, and Intensive Care)
• Musculoskeletal Outpatients

In addition, roles are available through Dorset Healthcare NHS Trust, including:

• Mid Dorset Integrated Community Rehabilitation Team
• Integrated Community Rehabilitation - Westhaven Community Hospital
• Dorset Stroke and Neuro Community Service
