Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rotational Physiotherapist (Band 5) to join the integrated Rehabilitation Service. You will rotate through Elective Orthopaedics, Acute Stroke Unit, General Surgical Wards, Respiratory Medicine/Critical Care, and other specialties, gaining a broad NHS experience.

You will receive regular supervision, appraisal and access to on-site training, including simulation-based learning.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Physiotherapy (3 or 4 year) or M.Sc. in Physiotherapy (2 year) or Diploma in Physiotherapy (3 year)
• Health & Care Professions Council registration
• Broad NHS experience across multiple physiotherapy specialties
• Experience in acute hospital settings such as surgery, orthopaedics, stroke/neurology, and musculoskeletal out-patients

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive physiotherapy assessments using clinical reasoning to determine patient needs.
• Analyse assessment information to formulate objectives and a treatment plan.
• Select evidence-based treatment techniques within scope of practice.
• Review and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment as needed.
• Discharge planning and multi-disciplinary collaboration; on-call duties as rota requires.
