Job summary

CALLING ALL PHYSIOTHERAPY STUDENTS GRADUATING THIS YEAR!

Are you looking for a rotational post within the acute setting through a range of specialities? This would be a great opportunity for new graduates, professionals looking to return to practice, or to gain experience in this area or setting.

This role offers the chance to join a large team of therapists across areas such as MSK Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Respiratory, Cardiothoracics, Elderly, Paediatrics, Stroke, Pelvic Health, and Surgery/Vascular.

It provides opportunities and support to enhance your knowledge and skills within a supportive team and environment, helping you to start or continue a successful NHS career.

Main duties of the job

• Assess and manage patients, liaising with the multidisciplinary team as appropriate.
• Utilise a range of skills and therapeutic handling techniques in patient management.
• Communicate sensitive information understandably.
• Participate in in-service training sessions.
• Maintain patient records according to HCPC, CSP, and Trust guidelines.
• Take responsibility for your own continued professional development.
• Participate in evening, weekend, and on-call services as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve services for staff and patients.
