London Ambulance Service NHS Trust seeks Pharmacy Technicians for rotational placements across IUC/111, the medicines packing unit, and governance. You will support development of SOPs, supervise staff, and ensure accurate dispensing and release of meds, including controlled drugs, across LAS sites.

The role involves working with the IUC lead pharmacist and other senior staff, with travel to LAS Trust sites as required to meet audit and training needs.

Qualifications

• GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing.
• NVQ3 or BTEC in pharmaceutical science or equivalent.
• Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification achieved.

Responsabilités

• Supervise Medicines Distribution & Stores; ensure medicines are secure.
• Develop and deliver medicines management SOPs and training.
• Undertake specialist rotations (e.g., Medicines Packing Unit, Governance, IUC/111).
• Check and release packed drugs; manage controlled drugs ordering and receipts.
