Job summary

London Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to rotate across IUC/111, 999 and the medicines packing unit. This role supports development of pharmacy skills, with supervision of junior staff and collaboration with the IUC lead pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in SOP development or writing is desirable.
• Experience training and managing staff and carrying out governance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Medicines Distribution & Medicines Store and ensure medicines are available and secure.
• Support medicines management training and SOP development.
• Supervise and undertake risk management and quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate with IUC/111 lead pharmacist and other teams; travel to LAS sites as needed.
• Assist in line management of Assistant Technical Officers and training staff.
