Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rotational Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Department in a forward-thinking team. The post supports progression from Band 6 to Band 7, with opportunities to work across medicines management and prescribing in ward-based pharmacy services.

The role involves collaboration with MDTs, specialists, and other pharmacy services, plus training to undertake prescribing where needed.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with NHS/NHS-funded service delivery experience.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy with ward-based medicines management.
• Interest in expanding prescribing competencies and advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care across medical/surgical wards and participate in MDT rounds.
• Support safe, effective prescribing and contribute to medicines optimisation.
