Job summary

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Pharmacy Department is seeking a dynamic Rotational Specialist Pharmacist to join a large forward-thinking team. This NHS post offers progression from Band 6 to Band 7 for suitably experienced candidates, with strong links to local universities and a focus on Medicines Management and innovative practice.

Qualifications

• Essential: Master of Pharmacy and current GPhC registration.
• Desirable: Independent prescribing; Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of our ward-based pharmacy service in a rotational specialist team.
• Participate in MDT ward rounds and prescribing to ensure seamless transfer of care.
• Advising clinicians and supporting pharmaceutical care across medicine and surgery; training if needed.
