Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in a rotation across acute sites in Hastings and Eastbourne, intermediate care units, and community rotations. The post develops clinical and leadership skills, supports OT students, and promotes the profession within the Trust.

All applicants must have current HCPC registration. The role offers full-time or part-time options with a salary of £39,959–£48,117 per annum pro rata, plus NHS benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Post-graduate qualification or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Post graduate qualifications in a relevant topic.

Responsibilities

• Broaden clinical practice across acute, intermediate care and community settings.
• Develop leadership skills and support OT students on placement.
• Promote the role of occupational therapy within the Trust.
• Ensure ongoing professional development and audit readiness.
