Job summary

North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist to join a 9-month rotation program across core areas including Orthopaedics, Trauma, Stroke and more. The role involves assessing needs, planning rehabilitation, and identifying discharge pathways to restore patients to their prior lifestyle where possible.

Postholders will rotate between Stockton and Hartlepool, with opportunities to develop specialist skills as the service requires.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registered.
• RCOT membership helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs of caseload and devise treatment and discharge plans.
• Rotate across Stockton or Hartlepool localities and core areas.
• Develop specialist skills as service allows.
