Join us on our improvement journey in Northern Lincolnshire and Goole towards 'Better Births'. There are posts in all aspects of Midwifery and the opportunity to maintain all your skills as a rotational midwife in a forward-looking service with staff that has the enthusiasm to improve care for women and families.

The unit has been awarded BFI Level 3 (GOLD). We have exciting opportunities for new and experienced midwives to join our established team of midwives at NLAG.

The position is a rotational post which includes working in all areas listed below. For band 5 midwives, this rotation will continue after completion of preceptorship.

• Community including continuity teams Daisy and Poppy (Grimsby only)
• Antenatal clinic and ADU (antenatal day unit)/Pregnancy Assessment Centre PAC
• Antenatal/postnatal ward care
• Labour care including theatres
• Triage (telephone and clinical care 24 hours a day)

Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care in a range of environments, without supervision.

Support, supervise, and teach less experienced staff on the ward/team relevant clinical and non-clinical procedures and practices.

Work autonomously within the department/team within Trust guidelines and sphere of professional practice.
