Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board seeks a Pharmacist to join the Withybush General Hospital Pharmacy Team on a rotational basis, delivering patient-focused clinical care across specialties.

You will work with Pharmacists and Technicians in a multidisciplinary environment, with support for ongoing studies and prescribing qualifications. Welsh language ability is desirable; English or Welsh speakers are welcome to apply. This NHS post is based in Haverfordwest, Wales.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of experienced Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to deliver a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service in all areas.
• Work as a key member of the pharmacy team providing clinical service to multiple areas on rotation as part of the MDT.
• Develop practice across a wide range of clinical areas within a small, friendly general hospital.
• Support ongoing studies including prescribing qualifications as appropriate.
• Take on the role of responsible pharmacist when working as part of the dispensary team.
