Join our friendly, innovative, and supportive Mental Health Pharmacy Team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated pharmacist to become part of our expanding service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of mental health specialties, including adult acute wards, older adult wards, psychiatric intensive care unit, and low secure unit. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with Community Mental Health Teams, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to support patient-centred care across a variety of settings. Previous mental health experience is not essential, and all applicants are welcome to apply. Successful candidates will be supported to develop their specialist knowledge and skills, including the opportunity to complete the nationally recognised Aston University Psychiatric Therapeutics Certificate.Main duties of the job The post is based at Glangwili Hospital, although pharmacy services are provided across the Health Board. As such, some travel between sites will be required to support services across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion. We offer flexibility regarding the areas you will cover. The post holders will contribute to the planning and delivery of the medicines optimisation strategy.
