Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites an experienced pharmacist to join the senior rotation, taking on ward-based and departmental duties. The post holder will lead clinical pharmacy activities within a speciality and contribute to medicines management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experienced pharmacist with clinical pharmacy background.
• Ability to work independently and discuss issues with peers and seniors.
• Willingness to lead in a clinical specialty on rotation.
• Engage in medicines management initiatives and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with medicines legislation.
• Provide medication to patients in a safe and legal manner.
• Lead the pharmacist within the clinical specialty on rotation.
• Deliver the clinical pharmacy service and medicines management initiatives.
• Assist in planning and development of services and provide financial reports.
• Support Pharmacist Team Leader professionally and managerially.
• Participate in all aspects of Pharmacy service, ward or department based.
