Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist (Rotational) to join the Band 6 Rotational Physiotherapy Team. This internal role is suitable for experienced clinicians or Band 5s ready to develop leadership across settings.

The post offers varied rotations with advanced assessment and treatment, supervision of Band 5s, students, and opportunities to contribute to service development, with emphasis on MDT collaboration and CPD.

Qualifications

• Degree in physiotherapy or equivalent.
• HPC registered.
• Clinical supervision / mentoring certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied and sometimes complex caseload with increasing independence.
• Providing specialist assessment and treatment.
• Supporting Band 5s, assistants, and students through supervision and teaching.
• Contributing to service development and quality improvement projects.
• Participating in MDT working and supporting effective patient flow.
• Engaging in CPD, in-service training, and supervision structures.
