Job summary

Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced band 5 or current band 6 physiotherapist to join a diverse rotation programme across Respiratory ward, ITU, General Medicine, Older Persons, AMU/ED, Orthopaedics and Discharge to Assess services.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice, supervision of juniors and involvement in CPD, in-service training and appraisal within a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Minimum 15 months post-qualifying work experience in NHS or Social Care setting and experience in inpatient acute and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous physiotherapy care across rotations including assessment and treatment of complex presentations in multiple clinical areas.
• Supervise and teach Junior Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants and students; participate in teaching colleagues from other disciplines.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team; contribute to CPD and in-service training.
