Job summary

ADM Protexin Ltd manufactures innovative, research-based live bacteria products for veterinary, human, agriculture and equine health markets. The role supports the Engineering Manager with continuous improvement and maintenance across our Somerset site on a rotating shift basis, liaising with multiple departments to minimise downtime and keep the plant running as a state-of-the-art manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience as an engineer in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
• GMP/quality framework experience (e.g., BRC, ISO 9001) is desirable but not required.
• Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) to operate ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering Manager with continuous improvement to prolong machine life and increase efficiency.
• Carry out Preventative Maintenance as required.
• Carry out Corrective Action as required.
• Coordinate with departments to minimise downtime and prioritise engineering issues.
• Ensure Corrective Action and Preventative Maintenance documentation is completed accurately.
• Assist with facilities maintenance and development.
