Job summary

MTrec Limited is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a busy maintenance team on a permanent basis. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across drilling machines, presses, furnaces, shot blast, paint plant and CNC equipment, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

You will operate on a shift pattern rotating days and nights (3x12, 4x12, 3x12 weeks) and contribute to PPM schedules, safety programs and lean methods.

Qualifications

• Time served mechanical maintenance technician required.
• Shifts include days and nights with weekend work as needed.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment (Drilling Machines, Presses, furnaces, shot blast, powder paint plant, CNC).
• Respond rapidly to breakdowns on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair or replace motors, contactors, sensors and control gear.
