Job summary

Ecolab in Baglan is seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join the Baglan Plant, reporting to the Reliability Manager. This role focuses on equipment uptime, TPM and PM activities, and safe, compliant operation within a GMP cleanroom.

The post requires an accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years’ experience, with strong TPM knowledge and CMMS proficiency. Rotating shifts apply, with a focus on safety and quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical understanding of Electrical and Mechanical principles.
• Ten years of experience in maintenance or related roles.
• Experience in GMP cleanroom environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Comply with SHE and Quality standards at site.
• Proactively address breakdowns that occur on shift.
• Complete PPMs on equipment to ensure quality finished products.
• Manage workload and prioritize work using CMMS.
• Support production targets and TPM activities.
• Mentor operators and drive machine improvements to reduce contamination sources.
• Repair and maintain equipment within a GMP cleanroom manufacturing facility.
• Collaborate with Reliability Manager on small installation projects.
