Boeing Defence UK invites motivated individuals to join the 18-month Aircraft Maintenance Technician Pathway Route to Aero Programme at AAC Middle Wallop. The programme develops you into a professional aircraft maintainer through hands-on training and a blend of on-the-job and college study.

You will train across airframe, propulsion and avionics, undertake routine maintenance, and learn to work safely with skilled engineers.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• 3+ years in a dedicated engineering role.
• 5+ years UK residency to gain/hold UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine scheduled aircraft maintenance and checks.
• Perform unscheduled defect rectification.
• Perform aircraft modifications.
• Use and follow approved maintenance documentation.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Work to given time scales and learn alongside skilled engineers.
• Respond quickly to changing demands throughout the day.
• Deliver increased productivity and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Interact with people and departments at all levels.
