Job summary

SUEZ UK is seeking a professional driver to operate Class 2 vehicles and manage the loading of bins for industrial and commercial waste customers. You will deliver a high standard of service while adhering to customer health and safety rules and our own at all times.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, CPC and tachograph cards, and excellent communication skills. Experience in the waste sector is desirable; training will be provided for recycling vehicle operations.

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence and CPC/tachograph cards are essential.
• Experience in the waste industry is desirable.
• Experience with recycling vehicles or skip operations is preferred but training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vehicles, loading of bins into the vehicle.
• Collect industrial and commercial waste from customers.
• Deliver a high standard of service and ensure compliance with customer Health and Safety rules and our own at all times.
• This role includes lone working and load responsibilities.
• Work as part of a hardworking team to meet service standards.

Job description

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles including the loading of bins into the vehicle, collecting industrial and commercial waste from our customers and delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

• A Class 2 license as well as a CPC card and tachograph card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
• Experience of working with recycling vehicles, roll on roll off containers or skip operations is preferred but not essential as training will be given where necessary.

This role will include lone working and a responsibility to load.
