Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Nursery Room Leader for a beautiful countryside nursery in Medstead, Hampshire. The role combines daily childcare tasks with leading activities and supporting a small team in a Forest School-inspired outdoor setting.

You will plan and deliver age-appropriate EYFS activities, foster outdoor exploration, and support children’s emotional and educational development while maintaining safeguarding and welfare standards.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering age-appropriate EYFS activities.
• Excellent observation and assessment of children's progress.
• Strong safeguarding, health and safety practices.

Are you an experienced Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or Nursery Room Leader looking for a rewarding opportunity in a beautiful countryside setting?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a welcoming, well-established nursery in Medstead, Hampshire, offering a fantastic outdoor learning environment, a supportive team and and flexible full-time or part-time hours of 20-40 hours per week.

Set within extensive countryside grounds, this nursery embraces a Forest School-inspired approach, encouraging children to explore, discover and learn through nature and outdoor play.

The Role:

As Nursery Room Leader, youll play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

This is a hands-on position, combining daily childcare responsibilities with the opportunity to lead activities, support colleagues and contribute to the nurserys outdoor learning approach.

• ? Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• ? Encouraging outdoor exploration, creative play and Forest School-inspired learning.
• ? Supporting childrens emotional, social and educational development.
• ? Leading and supporting colleagues within the nursery room.
• ? Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
• ? Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and welfare standards are consistently maintained.
• ? Observing and monitoring childrens learning and developmental progress.
• ? Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• ? Supporting children with additional learning needs and promoting inclusive childcare.
