Job summary

Shiraka Ltd in London is seeking a Lead Nursery Nurse/Room Leader with Level 3 Early Years qualification. You will work with senior staff to oversee training and ensure EYFS compliance within a nursery for 70+ children.

The ideal candidate has 12+ months in a senior nursery role and a thorough understanding of EYFS regulations, with a caring, empathetic approach and strong supervisory skills. This role is based on-site in London.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early years qualification.
• At least 12 months experience as a Senior Nursery Nurse or Room Leader in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS regulations and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning sheets and record keeping for the room.
• Ensure routines are followed and run smoothly.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed by all staff.
• Serve as a role model to junior staff and support training.
