Job summary

Shiraka Ltd in Windsor is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse for the 2-3 years room. The role is full-time (45 hours per week) at a private nursery with approx. 70 capacity.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 EY qualification and experience as a Nursery Nurse or Assistant. You will nurture children, assist with meals and potty training, and foster basic life skills while coordinating with health and care professionals.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to mentor and coach trainees.
• Act as Key-worker and observe children.
• Knowledge of the Children Act.
• Good communication with children and parents.
• Use initiative in daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritious meals, snacks and drinks.
• Assist with nappies and toilet training.
• Teach basic life skills like hygiene and manners.
• Collaborate with health and social care professionals and handle admin tasks.
