Job summary

Busy Bees Cheltenham is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, lead practice, and implement the nursery’s EYFS curriculum with consistency across the centre.

You will inspire your team, support families, and ensure high standards of care and learning in a welcoming Georgian building near Pittville Park. Level 3 qualification and supervisory experience are essential, with opportunities to develop your leadership within Busy Bees.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and family relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children, tracking progress and communicating with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person for a group of children and ensure personal care needs are met.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintain a clean, secure environment.
