Job summary

Kids Planet Prestbury is seeking an experienced Room Leader to guide a nursery room, delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS. You will set the standard for practice, manage daily routines, and mentor team members to achieve outstanding outcomes.

In this role you will build strong relationships with children and families, support individual learning journeys, and ensure safeguarding is at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met and their learning is supported.
