Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passion, energy and commitment to delivering outstanding childcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of your designated nursery room.
• Support, coach and mentor members of the Early Years team.
• Plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities in line with EYFS.
• Monitor children's development and maintain observations and assessments.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met.
• Work closely with senior leaders to support continuous improvement across the nursery.
