Job summary

Kids Planet Thrapston is seeking two Room Leaders to join our friendly nursery team. You will lead a room, deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, and help children thrive in a warm, supportive environment.

You’ll support the team through coaching, engage with families, and benefit from accredited training, wellbeing rewards, and a competitive salary with enhanced holiday and pension. Level 3 EYFS qualification and safeguarding knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a room within the nursery to deliver high-quality care and EYFS education.
• Support and guide the team to foster a positive, collaborative environment and promote professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families to meet individual learning needs.
