Job summary

Kids Planet Donisthorpe is hiring a Room Leader to lead a nursery room, delivering high-quality care and education in line with EYFS standards. You will mentor the team, foster a collaborative culture and support professional growth while building strong relationships with children and families.

The role requires a UK Level 3 EY qualification, solid EYFS knowledge and safeguarding expertise, with leadership experience considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• By leading and managing a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Through supporting and guiding the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Through building strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child\'s individual needs are met and their learning is supported.
