Job summary

Kids Planet Hebburn is seeking a Room Leader to lead a nursery room, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

You will support and mentor the team, build strong relationships with children and families, and help each child reach their learning goals.

This role offers a supportive environment with training through KP Academy and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met and their learning is supported.
