Job summary

Fennies Day Nurseries Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Room Leader to guide your room and deliver outstanding early years education. You will lead the team, plan engaging activities, and ensure high standards of care in line with EYFS.

You will build strong partnerships with families, mentor staff, and model best practice while safeguarding and health and safety are prioritised. This role offers leadership growth and a chance to shape children's early experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EYFS, Birth to 5 Matters, and child development.
• Experience in an early years setting, ideally as a room leader.
• Track record of delivering high standards of care and education.
• Experience as Key Person and implementing safeguarding, health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of your room with high-quality care and education.
• Inspire and support your team to deliver outstanding practice.
• Plan engaging learning experiences aligned with EYFS and Birth to 5 Matters.
• Build strong partnerships with families and maintain open communication.
• Model best practice and support team development with guidance.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety and compliance.
• Monitor children’s progress and support individual learning journeys.
