Job summary

Kids Planet Walton on Thames is seeking a Room Leader to lead a dedicated room, driving high-quality care and early years education in line with EYFS. You will support the team, mentor colleagues, and build strong relationships with children and families to meet individual learning needs.

The role emphasises safeguarding, development, and inclusive practice, with continuous training and a supportive central team. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Walton location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring individual needs are met and learning is supported.

How you'll make a difference as a Room Leader:
