Job summary

Kids Planet Basford is seeking a Room Leader to join our team and help children thrive in a warm EYFS setting, where every day is about curiosity and care. You will lead a room, guide a dedicated team, and build strong relationships with families while delivering high-quality early years education.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child's individual needs are met and their learning is supported.
