Job summary

Willing Care Ltd in Reading is seeking a confident Level 3 Room Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of your designated room, delivering meaningful learning experiences in line with the EYFS.

You will lead, motivate and support practitioners to maintain high standards of care and education, while building strong partnerships with parents and carers.

The setting offers an engaging outdoor play area and a welcoming environment where safeguarding and professional development are valued.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Room Leader qualification or equivalent evident.
• Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Right to work in the UK verification required.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your designated room.
• Lead, motivate and support practitioners to deliver high standards of care and education.
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
• Oversee observations, assessments and children's developmental records.

• Plan and oversee engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS
• Encourage children's curiosity, creativity, independence and confidence
• Make the most of the nursery's outdoor play area to support exploration and physical development
• Oversee observations, assessments and children's developmental records
• Support children's individual care routines and learning needs
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures
• Encourage teamwork, professional development and positive Early Years practice
