Job summary

UCM Education is recruiting an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery in Pinner. You will lead the room, support the team and ensure high standards of care, learning and development for children.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification, have EYFS knowledge and safeguarding awareness, and bring leadership experience to drive the room's activities and outcomes. This is a full-time role with a salary up to £31,000.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of the nursery room.

• Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing.
• Acting as a key person and building positive relationships with children and their families.

• Supporting colleagues with their practice and promoting effective teamwork.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and professional practice.
• Working closely with the management team to support the smooth running and continued development of the nursery.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery in Pinner. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Early Years professional looking to take responsibility for a room and lead a team whilst maintaining high standards of care, learning and development.

This is a full-time position offering a salary of up to £31,000 and would suit a Level 3 qualified Early Years professional with the confidence and experience to lead and manage a nursery room effectively.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and have strong previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting. You will have the confidence to lead and manage a room, support colleagues and maintain high standards of practice. A strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development is essential, alongside excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
