Job summary

Kids Planet Great Boughton is seeking a Room Leader to oversee a nursery room, delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS. You will lead the team, support professional development, and build strong relationships with children and families to meet individual learning needs.

This fixed-term maternity cover role is based near Chester with a supportive team, and offers training through KP Academy and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Job description

How you'll make a difference as a Room Leader:

By leading and managing a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

Through supporting and guiding the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.

Through building strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child's individual needs are met and their learning is supported.

What a Room Leader needs
