Job summary

leaf HOSPITALITY is seeking a motivated Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team and help create exceptional experiences for our guests. You will ensure guest bedrooms are clean, comfortable and presented to the highest standards.

This role supports the wider Housekeeping team and requires pride in detailing, a proactive attitude, and a friendly, team-focused approach. Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Positive and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms to the highest standards.
• Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms and guest areas are clean, comfortable and welcoming.
• Replenish guest amenities, linen and supplies as required.
• Follow cleaning schedules and company procedures consistently.
• Report maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure all rooms are prepared efficiently and ready for arriving guests.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail.
• Support the wider Housekeeping team when required.
• Follow health and safety, hygiene and company standards at all times.
• Help create memorable guest experiences through exceptional room presentation.

Room Attendant

This stylish hotel is off the M65, ideally located on the border of Hyndburn and Blackburn located within the Frontier Retail Park. Local attractions such as Blackburn's historic cathedral, the Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery, King George's Hall, and Blackburn Empire Theatre are only a 10-minute drive away.

The hotel encompasses 150 bedrooms and has substantial parking available for big group bookings. The hotel has a friendly, upbeat, comfortable feel and embodies Hampton's culture of Hamptonality perfectly. Our team will welcome you with a bright smile and are multiskilled to support you on both the reception desk as well as in our lounge, bar, and during breakfast.
