Job summary

HotelCare are hiring a Room Attendant to join their hospitality team in Portsmouth. The role offers a permanent position with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle and requires/accepts some weekend work.

You’ll deliver high standards of room cleanliness and guest service across busy hotel environments. Join a team focused on excellence, with on-site training and opportunities for progression within the HotelCare group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within hospitality, particularly housekeeping or room attendant positions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms to established standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, empty trash bins and restock amenities.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean mirrors for a neat appearance.
• Sanitize surfaces thoroughly for hygiene maintenance.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues or damages.
• Follow supervisor instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
• Ensure the security of guest rooms and the privacy of the guests.
• Provide professional and respectful service to guests and respond to their requests promptly.

Hours of work: 0-40 hours per week / Available to work some weekends.
