Job description

The Peninsula London is pleased to announce that we are seeking Room Attendant who will work within our housekeeping team and report to the supervisor and coordinator. This role is responsible for contributing to the cleanliness of the guestrooms and residential spaces, delivery of linen, and carrying out any requests to ensure the comfort of our guests and residents. Key Accountabilities

1. Ensure personalized service to all guests. Follow Peninsula Principles at all stages. To take note of guest preferences and update guest profiles through daily communication with the housekeeping supervisor.
2. Handle queue rooms and makeup rooms promptly in accordance with demand.
3. Liaise with the minibar/amenity team to ensure all rooms are serviced and replenished in a timely manner before completion.
4. Assist in monthly inventory of chemicals, machines, cleaning supplies, maintenance, minibar stock, and control store of the department.

General requirements

1. Previous experience within the housekeeping department and guest room cleaning in a luxury hotel for a minimum of 1 year.
2. Passion and appreciation of quality luxury hotel service and hygiene standards.
3. Excellent time management and organization skills, highly adaptable, and naturally positive.
4. Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
5. This position requires night shift duties based on operational needs. Willingness to work during these hours is a necessary condition of employment.
