Job summary

Buckland Manor is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly team. The role is on a casual zero hour contract with service charge paid monthly and shared among the team, plus on-site staff accommodation and free parking may be available.

You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas, following COSHH guidelines, and supporting across departments during peak times. Experience is not required as we can train you.

Qualifications

• COSHH training required or taught on the job.
• Flexible with rotas and able to muck in across departments.
• Attention to detail to keep guest areas sparkling.

Responsibilities

• Clean front of house areas and guest bedrooms to high standards.
• Assist across departments as needed to support busy periods.

One of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is set in ten acres of stunning grounds. With 4 AA red stars, 3 AA rosettes, and a member of Relais & Châteaux, Buckland Manor offers employees the opportunity to work within a traditional, yet friendly English country house hotel.

SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team. Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay, for a full time employee.

The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation in order to help the newest members of the team settle into life at the hotel and local area, plus free parking is available on-site.

We are looking for someone to join our friendly team to help us on the busier days of the week and for holiday cover. This position is on a casual basis (zero hour contract).

As a Housekeeping Assistant you will keep all front of house areas and guest bedrooms gleaming, ready to welcome our wonderful guests.

We welcome applications from candidates with no experience, as this role is all about personality and attitude, we can teach you the rest.
