Job summary

Rentokil Initial Careers is seeking a Customer Sales Consultant to join our team at the Walsall branch and cover an area from Birmingham to Cornwall and South Wales. The role involves in-person customer engagement and field-based sales to promote our pest control, hygiene, and plant/scenting services.

You will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing customer relationships, and achieving KPIs. A full UK driving licence and a proactive, creative mindset are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Self-motivated and target-driven with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Background in retail or sales is advantageous as you will be dealing with customers face-to-face.

The Sales Consultant Role

In this role, you will be selling the services which are responsible for lovely-smelling hotel lobbies, Christmas decorations in shopping centres, hanging baskets and floral displays that you see in pubs and office receptions.

Sales Consultant Responsibilities

• Working in the field generating leads on your own and with other colleagues in Rentokil Initial
• Nurturing relationships with new and existing customers
• Offering excellent customer service to our current customers
• Working towards and achieving set KPIs and targets

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
• Self-motivated and target-driven
• Excellent problem solver
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Background in retail or sales is advantageous as you will be expected to work face-to-face with customers regularly
• An outgoing, naturally creative and perhaps slightly eccentric individual
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
