Job summary

NSS Maintenance is seeking a Roofing Estimator in Altrincham to join our UK-wide facilities management team. You will estimate medium to large scale roofing projects, ensuring timely quotations and clear contract documentation to support management decisions.

You should be capable of building supplier relationships, analysing commercial opportunities, and collaborating with site surveyors and engineers to capture accurate data for pricing. Salary £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Estimating medium to large scale work opportunities.
• Quotations allocated within SLAs and documented clearly.
• Understanding H&S legislation when pricing opportunities.
• Ability to build relationships with suppliers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Estimating medium to large scale work opportunities generated from reactive maintenance visits or tenders.
• Ensuring quotations are completed within required SLAs.
• Maintaining clear workings for contract management detailing time frames, equipment and quantities.
• Provide support to contract management teams in delivering their instructed works.
• Engage with supplier & subcontractor relationships (existing and new).
• Meet and build reputable client relationships.
• Engage with site surveyors and engineers for accurate price data.
• Assist Operations Manager to identify conversion rate targets.
• Work with Operations Director to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other divisions to grow customer base.
• Analyze commercial situations to benefit the business.
• Chase opportunities submitted and maintain dialogue.
• Bring new supply chain lines into the business.
• Be flexible and urgent in fast-paced division.
