Job summary

Ec&I Partners Limited is seeking an experienced Roofing & Cladding Estimator to join their team in the UK. The role involves producing detailed estimates for roofing and cladding projects, interpreting drawings and tender docs, and coordinating with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator within roofing, cladding, façades or a related construction environment.
• Strong technical understanding of roofing and/or cladding systems.
• Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Experience preparing detailed tenders and cost estimates.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and tenders for roofing and cladding projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Complete accurate material, labour and plant take-offs.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify project risks, exclusions and commercial opportunities.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
• Produce accurate and competitive tender submissions.
• Work closely with design, commercial and project teams.
• Manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
• Assist with the handover of successful projects to the delivery team.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Roofing & Cladding Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with a strong background in roofing, cladding or the wider building envelope sector to join an established business while benefiting from a highly flexible working arrangement.

You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of roofing and cladding projects, working closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams throughout the tender process.
