Job summary

Technical Partners is seeking an experienced Roofing & Cladding Estimator in Bradford to produce accurate estimates for roofing and cladding projects. You will work with clients, suppliers and internal teams across tender processes, with flexible hybrid working (up to 4 days home) and one day in Bradford office.

The role requires strong knowledge of roofing and cladding systems, tendering experience, and excellent communication skills to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator in roofing, cladding, façades or related construction environment.
• Strong understanding of roofing/cladding systems.
• Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Experience preparing detailed tenders and cost estimates.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office and relevant estimating software.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and tenders for roofing and cladding projects.
• Review drawings and tender documentation.
• Take-offs for materials, labour and plant.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify risks, exclusions and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and subcontractors through tender process.
• Submit accurate tender submissions.
• Collaborate with design, commercial and project teams.
• Manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
• Assist with handover of successful projects to delivery teams.
