Job summary

JobsTrackR in Havant is seeking a reliable Roofer’s Mate to support experienced roofers with repairs and maintenance on social housing properties. You will assist with tiles, slates, guttering and related tasks, while keeping sites safe and well organised.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and previous experience as Roofer’s Mate or Labourer is desirable. You will work as part of a team, learn on the job, and deliver good customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence – essential.
• Experience as Roofer’s Mate, Roofing Labourer or General Labourer desirable.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Hands-on approach with willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team.
• Good communication and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting roofers with repairs, maintenance and general roofing work.
• Carrying and preparing tools, materials and equipment.
• Supporting with roof repairs, including tiles, slates, guttering and other components.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working professionally in occupied residential properties and providing good customer service to residents.
