Job summary

Octopus Energy is expanding its Solar PV installation teams across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Roofer/Roofers mate to support electricians, move materials, run cables and assist with Solar installations, on-site safety and efficient completion of projects.

The role offers a £30,000 base salary with overtime, potential London weighting within M25, a £2,500 annual KPI bonus, a company vehicle and weekly lunch allowance. Share options are also available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate.
• Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques & safety practices.
• Experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrician in Solar PV installation; move materials, run cables/conduit, grind tiles, waste removal and general site support.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Roofer/Roofers mate to join our ever-growing Solar PV installation team across the UK!

Responsibilities

• Work includes but is not limited to; the movement & lifting of materials, running cables/conduit, grinding tiles, waste removal and assisting the Electrician in Solar installation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate
• Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques & safety practices
• Experience working at height
