18 Recruitment Limited is recruiting a skilled Roofing operative to carry out roof repairs and maintenance on domestic properties within a social housing portfolio, based in Hastings. The role includes diagnosing leaks, replacing tiles and other components, and handling responsive repairs, with PDA system training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working within social housing, property maintenance, or residential repairs.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum in Roofing or a relevant trade.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance on domestic properties.
• Diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks and defects.
• Repairing and replacing tiles, slates, felt, flashing, gutters, fascias, and soffits.
• Completing responsive repairs and refurbishment works.
• Working within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Managing jobs through a PDA system (training provided).
